The Portable Ice Bath Tub for Athletes is $69.90 AUD, down from $139.80. The QuickDrain Water Pump, Plunge Point Thermometer, Infrared Sauna Blanket and 225 LED Anti Aging Therapy Light are each priced clearly on their product pages and at checkout. Buying pieces together as a set costs less than buying them one by one, and delivery is free on every order. No countdown timers, no hidden add-ons.
A tub on its own gets you plunging, but it leaves you bailing water by hand and guessing whether the water is cold enough. The plunge set adds the QuickDrain Water Pump, which empties the tub in minutes, and the Plunge Point Thermometer, so you know your temperature before you get in. The full system goes further, adding the Infrared Sauna Blanket for warmth afterwards and the 225 LED Anti Aging Therapy Light to finish your routine.
You can. In our experience, though, plans to add the rest later tend to drift, and people end up plunging without knowing the temperature or skipping the warm-up afterwards. Buying together means matching pieces arriving in one order, ready from your first morning. It also costs less. The three-piece full system, for example, saves you $103 compared with buying each piece separately.
Our double sets suit two people sharing one space, such as a couple in an apartment or housemates who train together. Two tubs means you both plunge at once instead of standing around in a towel waiting your turn, and some sets also include two sauna blankets and two LED lights. Living alone? A second tub is handy for a training mate, or for keeping one set up while the other dries. You also keep each other accountable.
Product Questions
Yes. The cold comes from cold tap water and the ice you add, and the tub is designed to hold it. Most people aim for 10 to 15 degrees, the range traditionally used for cold water immersion. The insulated, coated-fabric walls and padded insulated lid slow heat coming back in. That is the difference from a bathtub or a cheap single-wall barrel, where usable cold can be gone in about twenty minutes.
The tub is made from thick PVC-coated fabric, with vertical support ribs that hold its shape when full. A padded inflatable ring around the rim keeps it comfortable on your arms, and small feet at the base lift it off cold ground. It measures 75 cm high and 75 cm wide, comes with a round insulated lid, and seats you in a knees-up plunge position. Most adults up to around 190 cm tall fit comfortably.
For most healthy adults it is safe when you build up sensibly, starting with short dips and lengthening them gradually. Cold water immersion is a real stress on the body, so it is not suitable for anyone at risk of hypothermia, cold shock or cardiac stress, and you should never stay in longer than twenty minutes. If you have a heart condition or any health concern, talk to your doctor before you start.
Cold water immersion is well studied, and the 10 to 15 degree range is traditionally associated with reduced swelling and soreness. Many people feel an energy and clarity boost from their very first plunge. Any recovery benefits tend to show up over a week or two of regular use, when you may find your legs bounce back faster after a hard session. Results vary from person to person, and we keep our claims modest.
It floats on the water and reads the temperature through a sealed probe built into its body. It shows clear numbers in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. There is no app to pair. Drop it in, give it a moment to settle and read your temperature before you get in. It is built to handle repeated use in ice water, unlike a cheap pool float, and it works in a spa or regular pool too.
The infrared heat is built into the blanket itself, so it warms you directly instead of heating a whole room like a traditional sauna. You lie inside with your head outside and your arms through the openings, so you can still reach a drink, hold a book or check your phone. Getting in and out is easy, and it works on a lounge room floor in a small apartment where a timber sauna would never fit.
It is a 225 LED light panel for a skin-focused session at home, and it rounds out the routine after your plunge and sauna blanket. Use it indoors whenever it suits you. Many people wind down with it after warming up, while others keep it as a separate session in the evening. Follow the instructions supplied with the light for session length and distance, and treat it as a relaxing part of your routine rather than a medical treatment.
Most people run the routine first thing in the morning or after training. Start with a few minutes in the Portable Ice Bath Tub, dry off, then lie back in the Infrared Sauna Blanket to warm up. Finish with the 225 LED Anti Aging Therapy Light while you wind down. You can also split it up, with the cold on the balcony in the morning and the blanket and light at night. Follow the instructions for each piece.
Care & Use
Most people plunge daily or after every hard training session. Two to three minutes is plenty for the energy and recovery most people are after, and you should never go beyond twenty minutes. A good approach is a run of short sessions over a week or two to build tolerance, then keep plunging as a regular habit. Because setup is quick, it fits easily into a busy morning before work.
Fill the tub, add your ice and keep the insulated lid on whenever you are not using it, because the open surface is where most heat gets back in. Keep the tub out of direct afternoon sun where you can. Float the Plunge Point Thermometer to check you are in the 10 to 15 degree range before you get in, and add more ice if the water needs to come down further.
That is exactly who it is designed for. The tub sits on a balcony, in a bathroom or in a garage, anywhere with a small flat space, with no installation or renovation needed. The Infrared Sauna Blanket works on the lounge room floor or a rug in the bedroom, and both fold flat into a cupboard, under the bed or behind the couch. Renters can use everything without touching the walls or plumbing.
Plan where the water goes before you fill up, so set the tub on a balcony or beside a floor drain. The QuickDrain Water Pump is the easiest option, emptying the tub in minutes with no lifting or tipping. Without the pump, turn the tub so the side drain valve faces the drain, open it slowly and let it run at a steady pace. Tip the tub gently towards the valve for the last of the water.
Start with shorter sessions while you get used to the warmth, and follow the instructions supplied with your blanket for timing and use. Many people use it at the end of the day, between dinner and bed, as a way to switch off. Others use it straight after a morning plunge to warm back up. Listen to your body and step out whenever you have had enough.
After a plunge, drain the tub completely, wipe the inside down and let it air dry before folding, because keeping the PVC dry protects it and stops smells developing. Rinse the QuickDrain Water Pump with clean water so nothing sits in the hose. Rinse and dry the Plunge Point Thermometer and store it with the rest of your gear. Use a soft cloth rather than harsh cleaners, and store everything somewhere dry.
Keep both dry and indoors, and follow the care label and instructions supplied with each. Wearing a long-sleeve top and pants inside the Infrared Sauna Blanket helps keep it fresh, and letting it air out before folding keeps it ready for next time. Wipe the 225 LED Anti Aging Therapy Light with a soft, dry cloth rather than harsh cleaners. Store both somewhere dry, such as a cupboard or under the bed.

About Plungr
Plungr is for fitness-minded people, often in apartments, who have heard plenty about cold plunging but cannot fit or afford a fixed tub. It is a pack-away setup that lets you start on a balcony, in a bathroom or in a garage. You bring the ice and the discipline, and we supply a tub that holds the cold, a pump that ends the bailing, and a thermometer so you know your temperature.
Because fixed tubs priced most people out and ruled out anyone renting or living in an apartment. A two-thousand-dollar hard shell you cannot install is not much use. We designed our setup around three real barriers: cost, space and ice that melts in twenty minutes. Solve those, and the only thing left between you and a daily plunge is getting in. The sauna blanket and LED light follow the same principle of using it, folding it and putting it away.
We keep it straight. We describe what cold water immersion, infrared warmth and LED light sessions are traditionally used for, but we do not promise medical outcomes, and we encourage you to talk to your doctor if you have a health concern. Prices are shown plainly, with no countdown timers or pressure tactics. Delivery is free, and every order is backed by the same 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
